MarchofMaedhros for today is another deeeeep from the archives, and one of the images featuring a back story I'd thought of for Maedhros. It's possible that it was sparked by Laws and Customs among the Eldar in Morgoth's Ring, or the other writing in one of the later HoMe volumes where it's said which of the sons of Feanor were married and which weren't. I thought up an elf-maiden named Menellin (probably horribly butchered Quenya), who had been betrothed to Maedhros when his father was banished to Formenos, and whose family broke the engagement. THE ANGST. I'm at least pleased to note that nothing at all about her screams "artist insert", haha.

2021-03-10 01:46:27 +0000 UTCI was GMing a "DSA"-session (something DnDish) at that time and i literally set like three or four alarms because I was so scared I'd forget to take a break and miss out on my favourite π Naturally, to celebrate, I then had my (human) players get an Elven visitor at their camp at night, playing the harp.
