Pudgy little Paladin, ACEO (print) plans, and homework planner Maedhros

I seem to have an awful lot to talk to you about; I hope you're not tired of these emails yet?

Here's the first of the pin designs: Pudgy little Paladin Pin! I'll use some of the poses I did last spring, but some I'll make a little more compact. Most popular so far is the Ranger, and I just had the wonderful idea to make the bumblebee as an extra pin, so they'll be a set you can rearrange. XD

The others right now seem to be the Bard, Cleric, Wizard, Ranger, and Barbarian, so that's a nice little set that'll cover most things. Of COURSE, on the next convention, I just know I'll have a couple stopping at my booth, she looks at the Valar pins and asks, "Don't you have Orome?" while he asks why there's no Monk, but that's the sort of thing that always happens at conventions anyway.

I made a laaarge-ish order today for ACEO prints! One of the reasons why I was reluctant to make definite statements on their future was that I thoroughly dislike "small fry" for sale. That's why my postcards are either freebies for you, or come as a nicely packaged set (and I couldn't find any kind of box for the cards). Looking at the way other artists handle ACEO prints, I found a wonderful idea - they'll be available as numbered print runs - large enough to last me a while and to make sure nobody misses out, but with a neat stamp on the back that has the number of the print, to make them something special. Which I designed today. I've been busy.

(I should probably consider designing a Celtic dormouse knot.)

Today's MarchofMaedhros is a walk down weirdness lane: During my last school years and University, I always had a "homework planner" with me. At least I convinced myself it was a homework planner. It was, in fact, a sketchbook with WAY TOO MUCH stuff written in it, I positively rambled about my homework (and as far as I know, I never consulted it in the afternoons as I remembered perfectly well what I had to do), just because I found the combination of art and turquoise writing so attractive, and because I wanted to get to another page so I could start the next drawing! Of course, I could just have bought a sketchbook, but that was a luxury item I had no money for.

The writing today looks like time travel to me. Appointments with friends (some of whom I haven't seen since 1996), Greek, Latin, and English stuff, and the price for sending a football magazine and a mixtape, very probably to my brother, in D-Marks. Wow.

I really liked designing Himring winter fashion. (The t-shirt and tights phase was thankfully over by this time.)

Just a quick note to let you know how much I'm enjoying your #MarchOfMaedhros, and that I hope the ACEO prints will be available in sets also. Keeping my fingers crossed that better times are coming and I'll return to be a regular of your Etsy shop. <3

I am a great lover of celtic knotwork so the dolphin caught my eye. Good to hear that I can look forward to a set of little ACEO's. I will find a fitting box myself. :)
