I'm slowly easing into the holidays - last week was full of doctor's appointments with absolutely no result other than me being a superbly healthy person (at the cardiology department, they kept bringing in student trainees to "Look at what a healthy person's heart looks like, see here..."); this week is full of apocalyptic rain, but in between checking on the basement and building a bucket chain or two, I'm going to try for some art...
I've found that by putting a plaster over my right eye, I can see a lot better and even draw a little. It won't really help the left eye take over on its own, but it helps to just make the bad one shut up for once.
I've also got an appointment with a different ophthalmologist next week.
I've been having some fun with an RPG character generating tool called Hero Forge; you can customise your RPG characters there (and even order them as tabletop figures). I first built my long-time Paladin Mathos.

Next, obviously, I played around with a certain Noldo. You can even have amputated limbs. =D

Two weeks ago, we started a new D&D campaign, and I first built my new character, my Tiefling Rogue Jax...

... and then used that as a base to draw him in Procreate. Procreate is a lot easier to work with than anything else, because of the fantastic zooming options. Colouring in Procreate is incredibly tiring, so I'm not sure if I'll finish him, digitally or otherwise, but it felt good to be creating just a little.
I'll be opening my Etsy shop again this week - tomorrow evening, Wednesday, 19.00 CEST. (If you copy that into Google and you're in another tinezone, you should automatically be given your own time.) I'll have a few more originals up, too! And I'll close my shop again after ~30-40 orders maximum - the sixty that came in last time were a bit much. =)
