Some tentative new stuff

A belated happy new year to you all! It's still January, so you can say that, but you can no longer write it in capital letters. It is known.

The last few weeks have mostly been coping, ouch. But I'm slowly getting used to this new stage of bad eyesight and low mental battery, and finding my way around it. I've started a new piece to be done in Procreate - "Beside the Waves", pretty much a rerun of "In Pain and Regret".

I've also received such a huge amount of requests to republish "Songs of Sorrow and Hope" that I've decided to put it up as a digital download! So if you missed it the last time around, it's now here for your browser or PDF viewer.

I'm also planning to do a couple more pin designs. Fingon and Maedhros, as well as Fingolfin, are up for the "Ablaze/Resilient" treatment!

Fingon is a no-brainer with "Valiant", but what about the other ones? Fingolfin and "Courageous"? "Dauntless"? What about Maedhros? "Determined"?

The last page of Agnes' adventure has at least been started, but going is slow, and that's okay. I still hope to publish it as a picture book sometime this year. Hey, it's January, so that sounds pretty doable. ;)

I've also FINALLY won the battle with my insurance, who will now cover the cost for a genetic examination to find the reason for my deteriorating eyesight. If it's what the doctors think it is, it's bad news, but at least it will be an end to all the guesswork...
