Kaa's Slumber

"Ugh. I forgot to get milk again." Alisha muttered, scratching her sleep-tangled hair. She padded barefoot toward the dim kitchen, floorboards groaning under her weight. The fridge light flickered, illuminating empty shelves and a single wilting lettuce.

A sharp rustle sliced through the silence behind her—too crisp for wind through curtains. Alisha froze mid-step. Something slid across the worn rug near the sofa. She turned slowly. Twin amber disks glowed in the shadows, unblinking. Kaa’s scales rippled as he coiled upward, his eyes locking onto hers before turning in a kaleidoscope of colors. His low hiss vibrated in her mind. "Sssstill," he commanded, and Alisha’s limbs locked, her breath catching thick in her throat.

The snake’s gaze hooked deep into hers, pupils expanding into bottomless pits. Her vision swam, colors bleeding into dizzying spirals. Darkness swallowed the room, then dissolved into soft, humid warmth. She sank backward onto something yielding and alive—a vast, scaled mattress that pulsed gently beneath her. Muscular loops cradled her hips and shoulders, radiating heat like sunbaked stones. The air smelled of damp earth and crushed mint.

A low voice hummed inside her skull: "Raisssse them." Her feet lifted obediently, soles upturned. Something wet and forked traced the arch of her left foot—slow, deliberate strokes that burned cold then hot. Soft, insistent pressure followed: tiny, rasping kisses along her heel, each one leaving pinpricks of tingling numbness. Her toes curled involuntarily as the licks crept higher, methodical and relentless.

The velvet tongue explored every callus and dip, pausing to flick rapidly over her most ticklish spot beneath the middle toes. Alisha gasped silently, her body trembling against the serpentine mattress. She felt Kaa's coils tighten fractionally—not painfully, but possessively—as the ministrations intensified. The rhythmic lapping became suction now, gentle pulls against her skin that drew faint pink blooms to the surface.

Alisha’s dream-logic screamed that this shouldn’t feel soothing. Yet warmth pooled low in her belly, thick and syrupy, as the serpent’s mouth worked. His tongue slithered between her toes, spreading them wide, while his hood cast vibrating shadows across her thighs. "Yessss," Kaa hissed, the sound reverberating through the coils beneath her. "Yessss."

Outside the dream, her physical body arched off the rug, heels grinding into the frayed wool. Unseen, Kaa’s tail tip brushed her dangling wrist—a fleeting, scaly caress—before her eyelids fluttered violently. The bedroom’s chill air prickled her sweat-dampened nightshirt, a stark contrast to the tropical heat still fading from her skin.

Kaa’s tongue traced intricate patterns now—a languid spiral around her ankle, then a swift, teasing zigzag up her sole. He lingered at the ball of her foot, rasping rough-smooth kisses until her breath hitched in shallow gasps. His hood vibrated against her calf, humming a subsonic purr that deepened the trance, locking her in velvet paralysis. She floated, weightless, anchored only by that relentless, worshipful mouth.

Abruptly, the sensations ceased. The humid warmth dissolved like smoke. Alisha’s feet lowered slowly onto cool hardwood as Kaa’s coils withdrew. His amber eyes dimmed to mere reflections in the dark. "Dream," he murmured inside her skull, the word thick with finality. Then, nothing. Only the faint scent of mint and the fading echo of scales on wood.

Morning light sliced through dusty blinds. Alisha awoke curled on the rug, a stiff ache in her limbs. Her soles tingled faintly. She stared at the undisturbed rug where Kaa had coiled. No bronze scales. No amber eyes. Just sunlight pooling on worn fibers. She flexed her toes, shuddering at the phantom slickness still clinging to her arches. The fridge hummed emptily in the kitchen. Thoughts of milk had long been forgotten.
