POV: a day at the leisure park
Added 2023-09-11 13:42:23 +0000 UTCMy daugther celebrated her sixteenth birthday yesterday, so I took her and her two best friends to Phantasialand (a nearly-local leisure park), did four rides on "F.L.Y.", the "Crazy Bats" and "Colorado Adventure" just to feel justified in paying 62 Euros for a day of drawing, then found the coziest spots of the park (there was actually one very lovely one, almost devoid of people and utterly devoid of the ubiquitous loud music behind the "Würmling Express" boating lake!), and drew for most of the day.
And remembered the times when the kids were way younger than sixteen and I would have paid a lot more just to have a day of drawing, haha. ;)
Caleb's study time is finally underway! I was so scared of colouring it, but I'm really happy with how this is coming along. Mostly flat colours now, painting is imminent! =D
