I now remember why I haven't shared my wip shots of my recent paintings - because most one-character pieces end up finished before I think of it! This is taking a lot longer. It's the first time trying to work on a digital watercolour with the same approach as a real one (here, again with Adilson Farias brushes, plus my trusty Drifter one for details). I'm hardly using layers at all, and started out with a fairly concise first wash. Not sure how much dark the assassins in the front can handle, but we'll see!
Daughter: "Those attackers all look the same."
Me: "Yes, that's Otohan Thull and her..."
Daughter: "ECHOES!! Niiiiice!"
I love it when she knows lore from a show she's never even seen (she loves the animated series, but knows only bits from the stream). We always tell each other about our favourite shows and books for hours, and I wish I could retain half as much as she can!

That's always the hardest thing to maintain! I'm finding that digital makes it easier, as you can always go back and punch contrasts where they're needed for the movement.
