And as of last episode, I feel very much vindicated that Orym is indeed in love with Dorian, and I hope we'll see the Blue Boy at the table again soon…

Hooray, congrats on finally having a working heater again!!! May you have many happy years together :D I love the color palette you picked for this piece - so warm, yet wistful! I don’t think I’ll ever stop missing Will (I say, not even having starred c3, lol), but Orym deserves happiness, dammit!

2023-12-13 18:59:11 +0000 UTCI'd put it down to a side effect of the angst rather than a tropiness (and would argue that Vox Machina was a trope-fest anyway!) I do love that this m/m romance is obviously not ticking boxes but came around organically, and he’s been sitting on that for ages. Aimee tried so hard to get an "I love Dorian" from Liam when she was a guest, and he just wouldn’t budge 😂

We've had romance between ladies, and then queer(-ish?) robots; it's about time we get a bit of active M/M love at the table. (Something narratively more satisfying than: 1. the rejection of Gilmore by Vax, 2. the forever-at-arms-reach sad of Essek and Caleb, and 3. the gays-die-first sad of Orym's hubby. I love Liam, but the man does seem to fall into a lot of negative gay/bi-men tropes with his angsty characters. LOL)
