Real world parallels aside, I feel like, up until the intervention of Morgan, there has to have been some sort of magic that's been preventing M from transitioning in a magical way as opposed to the realistic slog that she's going through. Like, In a city where a random back alley has empty cans of gender-themed soda she just can't catch a break. Always arrives just after they close the doors to the club where the music turns everyone inside into their true selves. Just out of the splash zone of a tanker rupture that releases a flood of gender fluid on everyone else in the vicinity. I genuinely wonder if this is a plot device. Like, the magic jerks know this lady is going to be a problem for them if she ever self-actualizes so they're putting A LOT of effort into preventing that from happening.

That and yeah, I too can't bear to see an animal caught or in pain. Usually, I do carry safety gloves if something like this happens. However, I'm not always practical because there is somebody "not as smart" in the situation. Anyway, I love seeing this side of your character. It's humbling. ☺️💚
