It’s time for the traditional progress report! 📝
Following the recent poll, as expected, I skipped August’s monthly video—a necessary sacrifice, and one backed by the VAST majority of you. 🫡 Thank you for your votes and feedback, comrades! 🙏 After taking a short break to restore both productivity and health, I’ve finally been able to throw myself full-time back into the Dandadan Part 2 campaign—and damn, I really missed it!
With production back in full swing, a lot of shots are currently in the works (cleaning, coloring, or waiting for backgrounds), but a few are already completed—and you’re getting to see them today! 🚀
The long-teased multipose shot! This one serves as a time-skip in the final video. Ever since I saw a similar shot years ago on Twitter, I’ve always wanted to try it myself—and Dandadan was the perfect battlefield for it. Victory! 🏆
---
From sketch to final! You saw the rough earlier, here’s the finished version. Yes, I may have spent way too much time on a shot that flashes by in the blink of an eye—but hey, all for the spice! 🌶️✨
---
That look that says it all. Gentlemen, if you can’t read between the lines, it simply means: “I want more.” Still missing the coloring on this one! 👀🔥
---
The most-voted shot from the position poll! I couldn’t wait to animate it—a subtle movement hiding hours of carnal warfare. Currently in the cleaning stage, and I can’t wait to see it completed. 💪
---
The eternal cooking continues. Sweaty, exhausted after a nonstop afternoon/evening, Momo is still being endlessly… seasoned. We’re closing in on the endgame with this one—but not quite yet. 😉 Fluids and coloring are still incoming!
Not bad for one batch, huh? What do you think, soldiers? 👀💥
🧭 A word from your spice supplier:
After taking that short breather, I feel reborn and it’s been great to focus on Dandadan full-time again. Originally, my plan with the monthly videos was to keep the big projects moving without slowing down too much, while still giving you a fully finished product every month.
But months later, flirting with burnout, I’m rethinking this strategy.
I still want to deliver something finished every month on top of the big projects, but maybe I need to adjust the format—less variation in movements? Fewer pose changes? Less detail? Or maybe something entirely different? 🤔
I’d love to hear your input—it really matters to me!
That said, I’m having a blast with Dandadan, and I can’t wait to show you the full project with both parts completed. I already have big ideas lined up for the next campaign, and I know you’ll love it. I just need to find a way to present both long and one-shot missions at a healthy pace for everyone. 💡
Thank you, soldiers, for always standing by my side—and for being more numerous every month despite the stormy times. Thinking of your support, and knowing that you’re out there waiting for the next post with (hopefully) excitement, is what keeps me moving forward when morale dips. You’re the backbone of this army, and I owe you everything. ❤️🫡
Until the next debrief—whether it’s another progress report or a new poll…
Stay strong, soldiers.
DISMISSED! ⚔️🔥
