Do you like when voices are modified to fit characters?
Added 2023-11-25 23:40:31 +0000 UTCFor example, I recently recorded an audio that involved a half-human / half-robot AI. Would you prefer these types of audios be released in my normal voice, or a modified voice?
In this instance, adding a bit of reverb and flattening my tone can make it sound more robotic and less human. After playing with it, both are good, but in different ways.
For farmer scripts in the past, I've used a southern accent because I thought it fit the character better. This could be another example, I suppose.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts!
