Underbros: George Tumbleweed
Added 2018-03-31 15:39:24 +0000 UTCThe third male character to appear in The Underburbs after The Hammer and his own father Otis, George Tumbleweed is a classmate of Angela’s, as well as her only human contemporary. The son of a somewhat hot-headed survivalist (Otis is inspired by John Goodman’s performance in The Big Lebowski), George dresses mostly in army surplus clothing and has a knack for strategic thinking. This is balanced with a lack of social graces, from his awkward semi-crush on Angela to his outright goofiness as the series progresses. He’s like a border collie. Highly intelligent, but a little crazy when not given a specific purpose. He spent some time dressed as a pirate in an attempt to blend in with Underborough’s monster population, but has since pared it down to only the eyepatch because he thinks it looks cool. That with his slight mullet gives him a boyish Kurt Russell vibe, don’t you think?
