Looking for something to wrap herself up in, she found what she thought was an intricately patterned blanket. Turns out it was a cursed kimono, left behind by some of Winifred's father's yokai business partners. Why it was left in an unguarded heap is anybody's guess, but at least the cold doesn't seem to bother Angela for the moment.
