See, there were days gone by when someone would call, not knowing if the party they were looking would answer or not. The person on the other end would not know the identity of the caller until they asked. But not before greeting the caller with a polite, chipper, "Brimston Residence, may I ask who is calling?"
And if no one was there, the caller would make another attempt at a later time.
