One Step Back
Added 2017-11-27 19:02:48 +0000 UTCHere’s the intermediary sketch of Mechanic Angela. I was still figuring out what I wanted to do with the hair. I had her using a rubber tire as a hair tie, but widely decided against it.

And it’s one design element too many. She’s already an aged-up, hyper-long-haired mechanic with an oversized magic wrench. There’s no need to add whimsical effects like a tire hair tie at that point.

2017-11-28 22:56:09 +0000 UTCThe tire's an inventive idea, but it'd be pretty heavy in addition to all that hair, plus I imagine getting the hair in and out of the thing would be kinda painful.
