One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Net
Added 2019-06-01 04:43:48 +0000 UTCThe cover to Underburbs 19! I would’ve posted process pics, but I knocked this whole thing out from pencils to color in one day. I used Chartpak markers, which are notoriously bleedy. But we have a whole box at work which are all warm/cool greys, reds, and browns. I wanted to work with a limited palette. I nearly chickened out and only pencil shaded Winifred with the intention of coloring her digitally, but I used the highly wet alcohol markers and managed not to destroy all I had built up to that point. Clearly I was in the zone.
