MONTHLY WHAT NOW

So, this is usually the point when I’d come up with some kind of poll for the Monthly Mutations tier. But the holidays have taken all of my available brain juice and now I ain’t got no ideas. So fire away in the comments with something you think might fit the bill based on the stuff I’ve been doing for the past couple months. I’m giving you carte blanche on this. It doesn’t even need to be Underburbs based, just something to which I can apply my usual Tee-Effy goodness in three to four pages max. I’ll do whatever I think I can manage by the end of the month. I may not do a poll next month either, but I have a plan for February.

TL;DR: give me Monthly Mutations ideas plz

MONTHLY WHAT NOW

Get out of my head. I was definitely planning on a Winirat, but in more of a Daily Doodle capacity.

Joe Haley

like for example, winifred turning into a rat while angela turns into a chinese dragon

nordictomo

how about some chinese new years themed transformations? that's at january 25th

nordictomo

That’s pretty much the Angela AR that I just did. Plus, where Christmas and New Year’s are only a week apart, I didn’t feel the need to do an expressly NYE/D-specific sequence that won’t be seen until the end of January.

Joe Haley

How about "New Year, New Me" taken a little too literally

How about an ice/fire theme? Winifred wants to make it colder in Underborough as it's too warm for this time of year. But the spell or whatever causes herself to become colder until she becomes an ice elemental. And as a counterbalance, Angels becomes a fire elemental.

Cydra

Not a bad idea, but male Underburbs characters are sort of a commodity.

Joe Haley

Dang it, now I’m seeing Rosemary flexing out of her sweater and mom jeans revealing some sort of animal hide bikini.

Joe Haley

I got that email, but I have a bad habit of answering messages/emails/texts with a nod of recognition instead of a typewritten response. Feels like more of a rapid fire thing I’d do in the daily stuff.

Joe Haley

Might be too specific/too deep of a cut to use, but I do enjoy Michael Showalter.

Joe Haley

Alternatively...maybe a Chinese New Year sequence - maybe a little longer if you start now...using Underburbs characters or not.

thrandrall

Maybe some more classic lolita type transformations - standalone or something else. Or some other period styles?

my dad got me a great silly book for my birthday a few years back and i thought it could be a perfect TFTG trigger. Guys can be cat ladies too. http://www.tharkis.com/images/temp/gunsafety.jpg Except it turns out a bit more literal and they get fuzzy and girly, and end up chasing a ball of yarn or something

Tharkis

How about a devilfication of the main Underburbs regulars by Bel Brimstone? (I sent an email about this idea some time ago, but I'm not sure if you still use that particular address.)

Ben Winfield

I'd love to see an expansion of the Barbarian Beauties epilogue. Angela Frazetta-izing some of the populace.

Jay Jay

Leader of the Sexy Cop Unit gets a new pair of sunglasses and gives the old pair to the chief. Leftover magic on the sunglasses turn chief into (the efficient) Sexy Cop Chief

DarkZamiel

Yeah, I can't do better than Dad TG. There's lots of angles: Dads wanting to relate to daughters, old fashioned dads that need to be "woke" and learn daughters aren't possessions to be owned. I second that idea.

Gnome-oo

And for added content, it could always be the dads all around the neighborhood are experiencing the same -- oh the delightful machinations of school fundraiser direct sales transformation tea

Scramble

The dad into princess angle could be just the wholesome TG I’ve been looking for! Dad has the day off, sits down for “princess tea time” with his daughter, but UH-OH there’s actual tea in there? I thought it was just pretend! And then billowy gowns and fabulous hair ensues.

Joe Haley

Just some ideas: Soccer mom marmalade makes its rounds The great TF baking show where each week Paul Hollyweird challenges them to turn a friend into the showstopping dessert of the week Jumanji: candy land edition Paternal Princesses: dad stereotypes become princesses for a day
