Dum Sketches, part 1

These were part of a commission involving PlayfulElegy’s OCs, Hoffi and Flow. They are rubber golems, also known as dums. Through some chicanery, they press Winifred into a mold, making her like them. These were my first attempts at Rubber Winifred. I really like how shiny the first one is. The second sketch is basically what I did for the final product, except for her way too long arms. I was going for a segmented look for her joints to make her more toylike. It was an interesting challenge to draw a skirt that way, and the commissioner didn’t even really ask me to do it. Toylike was really the only prompt I was given, and I enjoyed running with it. I’m glad that after all this time doing this crazy TF stuff, I can still find something new to try.
