This bothered me since the Wii U release of Super Mario 3D World. When Luigi gets a Super Leaf, he dons a fox suit (which I dubbed the Kitsooni Suit to match the goofy localized spelling of the Tanooki Suit). It seems like they did that just for kicks back in 3D Land. In 3D World, it works really well with the multiplayer aspect because it sets Mario and Luigi apart a bit more it they’re both rocking a Super Leaf.
Peach and Rosalina did not get this treatment. If you’re playing with both princesses and you’re both leafin’ it, then you have two blonde tanukis on your hands. Despite Rosalina’s stylish black sleeves, that’s not exactly enough when you’re in a frantic 2-4 player platforming session.
So once again it is up to me to right only Nintendo’s most minor errors. Kitsooni Rosalina. That’s all you guys had to do,
