I think both characters are aware of what may happen to them at any given moment due to the whims of their creator. Angela is prone to roomier, stretchier clothing as a direct result. Winifred, on the other hand… her pride will not allow her to wear anything but her tailored fineries. That’s fine, if you’re counting on staying the same size over the course of a day.
