The main reason it's useful to know now rather than later, is because there are some design items upcoming with the implementation of sex scenes, and then some additional elements after that. It's more efficient to work towards a certain layout early, rather than having to completely redo the layout later. In the case of sex scenes, the informational display of different partners (which is also used for "targeting" a partner) could go several different ways which aren't all complementary to each other.

2018-03-07 10:12:42 +0000 UTCbefore i vote, id like to say that there is a game on patreon called 'Umichan Maiko Classroom Havoc (UMCH)' that used the phone or tablet device to bring up the menu, and that the menu was shown by the player character actually puling it out and looking at it. you can see her hands and everything, and her index finger was the cursor pressing the screen as the player clicked; it was a very visually artistic game. very well done. i don't think that's the way this game needs to go, but it was a great concept.
