Need a pause

If this week you don't see much drawing made by me, it'll be normal
For the past week / month I've been working very hard on multiple project, a fursuit, my merch for my future stand, but at the same time on commissions.
I was working the day on commission and the night on merchs / fursuit
Let's just say, I haven't been resting as much as I should have
And right now I can say it without a doubt, I'm in a burn out
I've checked website and all the symptomnes are there, lack of inspiration, lack of desire to create, feeling bad about anything that I do, etc etc...
So' I've decided to take this week off to be abble to rest, doing personnal project and playing, it'll depend on what my body and mind need
I'm also doing it cause I don't want to ruin my client's commissions, I want to put my full energy into them and right now I can't.
I'm not canceling my next month opening, but I'll be taking far less commissions, around maximum 10 to be abble to finish the one I haven't be abble to finish this month (around 8)
Don't worry, I'll be fine, The website said I should try more special project, rest, whatever, and it seems right to me.

I would have told you to take a break if I heard this. 1. if you were losing sleep because of commissions and working on a fur suit or merch, you should time yourself. If it looks like the Suit and Merch won't be done before your future stand, take a break from commissions. 2. I do think an on-and-off month on commissions would be best. I think taking March off to let your hand rest and finish up on some other stuff you want to do would help a lot. Understandable if commissions pay the bills, but don't destroy your hand for them. Anyways rest well Coco Line I know I got a few commissions from you and will wait to commission you again.

2025-02-24 13:45:19 +0000 UTCDefinitely take a break, or maybe a two week vacation. We don't want you to burn yourself out. Nothing is sadder that working too hard and killing your passion. I'm sure many other supporters feel the same way. I hope you have a great rest and look after your health, both mentally and physically.
