to make a cheesy quote 'The Plot Thickens'... whoever this mysterious person is (Guessing Eli right now and who is also Nikoli and co online friend somehow) is either doing this method to get more of the less inclined/shy guys around school to pick up the good girls while making the popular girls left out in the dust with his method just to cause perhaps a societal culture shift towards a more fat positive stance?

BTW I love the nurse design, she might notice that a lot of the student will change too when she’ll see them again in the future
