2023-12-02 13:58:26 +0000 UTCAs far as the breakfast you were wondering about, it looks like a VERY poorly cooked version of a traditional japanese breakfast (grilled fish - yakizakana, in vegetable soup, and either cereal or rice porridge with fruit in it). Although the story is set in a cold war west vs. east germany sort of setting the foods they eat in morning seem to be mostly Japanese and asian type breakfasts. There was something else on the table that looked like it might have been slightlyt burnt Natto or steamed/grill vegetables.... or maybe eggs. Who knows? Yor is BAD at cooking.
