2024-10-29 13:45:16 +0000 UTCI'm very late to this, so you may not see this comment, but Spanish and English are actually not that closely related. Spanish is a Romance Language derived from Latin whereas English is a Germanic language. Dutch is actually our closest language relative, so to speak, so you aren't imagining things when you feel like it almost sounds like English. In fact, if you went way back in time to the Middle Ages, you'd be able to navigate Old English and/or Middle English easier if you knew Dutch and/or German.

I hate watching season 1 with reactors because they get the bootleg version and the sound is horrible, the music is way too loud and their mics are too quiet. Very cheap production in general. Seasons 3 & 4 are still my favs, but at least I can watch S1 properly this time with you <3 To answer your question, we don't tend to display flags everywhere. Our national flag was associated with the fascist dictatorship we had until 1975 and now it's kind of a symbol for the far-right political movement. Our regional flag is associated with the pro-independence movement, and you see it much more than the national one. It's still a divisive topic, so...I'm not for displaying any, personally.

You should definitely look into reacting to the Permission to Dance concert movie if you want to see what BTS concerts are really like (in HD!!). If you're interested it's available on Disney+ (but you can easily find it on soap2day as well)!! Can't wait for the next video!!

2022-09-23 22:31:09 +0000 UTCIt's always fun to see people reacting to our culture and i love that you have Norwegian ancestry Steph! i'm Norwegian and i actually live in Bergen! it's so weird watching Bon voyage season 1 and seeing them in places i've been a million times. the outfits are traditional yes, and they're also locally distinctive, so the dress/suit people wear represent the area in Norway they belong to. it's used in celebratory occasions and is made of wool so it's suited to be worn at any time of the year seeing as Norway is a historically cold country. the flags are only displayed for birthdays or other celebratory occasions. not a normality at all. this episode is an extreme compared to our very anonymous normal.

2022-09-23 20:50:24 +0000 UTCOh, also, forgot to mention but yes they had travel out of Korea before, they have BTS NOW and the Summer/Winter Packages, but it's still more for work because they do editorials and stuff!! Bon Voyage us the first time they travel as a "vacation" in a way, and it's the first time the Staff doesn't do the stuff for them so that's why they are forgetting things 😂 but as you saw on Season 2 they got better at it, and by each season they got even more freedom, like in season 3 and 4 they drive themselves and all, it's really cool!!!

Im norwegian and its som fun to see them in my country, and to answer some of your questions, they were there on the 17 of may which is Norways Independence Day. It’s usually celebrated with a parade that goes all around the city centre. The dresses and outfits people are wearing is our national costume and we usually only wear them on this day, for weddings, confirmations, christenings and other important events. And about the flag, we don’t usually flag, normally it’s only for 17 of may, birthdays or other events. And about English, Norwegians usually start learning it in first grade and have a generally good understanding of it through school and media, so if you were to travel to Norway you wouldn’t have to be that worried about not knowing the language because pretty much everybody would be able to communicate in English:) can’t wait to see your reaction to the rest of the episodes!

2022-09-23 15:05:16 +0000 UTCYeah, in this season they cut a LOT to put on the behind the scenes, i think they were getting the hang of it too, but you saw even the main episode wasn't even 30 minutes!!!! Normally the main episode is almost an hour or even more, but in season 1 they cut a lot of it!! Also, the first part of episode 2 behind the scenes it's the rest of the first day lol, and yes Taehyung didn't get lost yet, believe me when he does you WILL know 😂😂 And i don't really know why Yoongi was not with them, there's this too, if it was today they would put why on the brackets, maybe they said something because i heard them mentioning Yoongi and his pic on the side but it wasn't translated on the captions
