I totally thought Nanami was going to die too! So relieved he got rescued. And I didn’t see any inconsistency in Sukuna. The first time, he had been called by a desperate Itadori who had forgotten that Sukuna was in no way his ally, and he had shown up to have a good laugh at him with Mahito. After that, Mahito was intruding on Sukuna’s territory, touching his soul (albeit by accident the second time). Big mistake!
