I’m pretty sure it started because my older sister’s middle names are both our grandmothers. He once answered a Weverse question about what he wants to be for Halloween with "Legolas" and even did a Legolas-inspired photoshoot recently for his self-directed photo-folio (like he specifically mentioned Legolas in the behind the scenes). A couple of the others have made references to it too. I was actually obsessed with Legolas from like 7th grade through college and it was really cool to see my bias Hobi was a fan too. haha

He might goof around, but he is serious when it comes to important issues :( also, he has the most number of wins in run bts. Anything physical jk wins but anything with smartness or cooking Jin wins (tennis, cooking kimichi, avatar cooking, lotto mall, photo card, treasure hunt,..), everything is foreshadowed by his fun side (but when he losses he gets thrashed by members :D )

2023-05-21 09:16:29 +0000 UTCA lot of armys tend to keep quiet if they see bts in real life, I’ve seen a lot of armys tweet on how they saw one of the members months after their encounter so that they don’t spoil or leak any information of the member's location. In fact for Suga’s haegum Music Video shoot in Thailand, Thai armys didn’t speak a word or take any photos of the shoot. One time Rm even spoke about how a cashier recognized him at a coffee shop and that all she did was write a thank you note on his coffee. I’ve seen a tweet that one time an army saw Rm in a museum and she did not want to disturb him yet she wanted to show her love for bts so she walked past him and started humming one of their songs and left :) Bts acknowledges us on this and they always thank us for pretending we don’t know them <3

2023-05-20 22:22:42 +0000 UTCi think you missed it but the reason why they hadn't seen the chicken noodle soup MV yet was because it wasn't released yet, they were just watching a rough edit of it 😁 they always support each others solo work and it's honestly the most heart warming thing. we've seen a lot of it now since all the members are doing solo stuff and it's so cute how they post screenshots of each others MVs or spotify profiles on their insta/weverse stories just minutes after release lol

2023-05-20 22:03:09 +0000 UTCSo I'm actually from New Zealand and when this was happening and being filmed there was a facebook post going around saying that for all NZ armys to just leave them alone and let them enjoy their time here without worrying about people coming up to them and we had a codename to call them and stuff, so thats why this season you won't see fans and stuff try to take photos and things like that but they are actually suuuuper popular here

They love meeting armys and so have scheduled official events for that. But when they're out in their free time and are with their friends or maybe just want alone time, I think they appreciate being able to go about their daily lives like "normal" people. Even Tae posted a thank you to armys in Hawaii for acting like they didn't know him when he was on vacation there with his family. They value our love for them but also our respect for their privacy. They've especially been having issues recently with "fans" invading their privacy, which I know is different from just asking for a photo. But they've talked a lot about missing out on all the basic everyday stuff that most of us can do that they can't anymore, like just being left alone out in public. This, of course, is my personal take on it.

2023-05-20 18:58:34 +0000 UTCBTW: The reason there was trouble with Jin's travel documents was most likely because of his age. Him being 28 means that he has to enlist in the military within that year (but BTS have an exception that means they could postpone longer) and once you turn 28 as a south korean male there are certain restrictions for traveling out of the country in case you are trying to go abroad to avoid enlistment. Because it is mandatory for all able bodied male citizens there have been a lot of issues of people trying to avoid enlistment through different measures like leaving the country or faking medical issues etc and celebrities are watched very closely to make sure they don't do anything like that. Jin was obviously not trying anything, but there are a lot of documents one needs to sign to be allowed out of the country. He needs to prove that he has a valid reason for leaving and that it is a work trip and what type of work he is planning on doing etc. So it was probably an issue with one of the required documents that was easily fixable.

Jimin actually flew 12 hours from Paris to Seoul JUST to be with Jungkook on is birthday, with presents and a cake, even though he then flew to Hawaii only a few hours later
