i mean, ghislaines brother is pretty obvious, but i am surprised they clocked theresa as being related to rudy (in the novels, to leave millis and get home paul wasnt able to get them easy access to a ship, they needed help from an old friend of ruijerd, and rudy ran into theresa his aunt who was the woman protecting the girl in the forest, and she stood up for rudy and ruijerd to allow them passage on the ship)

2023-11-14 01:48:34 +0000 UTCGoblin Slayer is good, and I am sure I have seen at least two reactors love that show. Everyone keeps saying the first episode/show is only interesting because it is horny or the shock factor. If you are into that, watch Redo of Healer or that harem anime with the protag literally bones his slaves (Harem in the Labyrinth or something like that) or just an Hanime. Goblin Slayer has excellent action, strategies, and an interesting protagonist. Is it a breaking story? No, but it has so much to offer. If I keep the same mentality as this conversation you two had, I would say Mushoku Tensei is only a good-looking anime with horny scenes, but it's not that; it has so much more, just like Goblin Slayer. Wes and Seph, if you read this, I hope you give at least season 1 of Goblin Slayer a chance. It can be rough sometimes, like Mushoku Tensei in that sensitive subject, but I genuinely believe Goblin Slayer has much to offer. Nice animation, fun fights, good music, an exciting world premise (DnD style), and an engaging, broken protag.

2023-10-21 05:15:55 +0000 UTCHaha, no, Octarine is the color of magic (I'm a fan of the Discworld books), but I'll take Octarine=Okarin too! I've seen it in many comments that they don't, I hope I'm wrong. In case I am, Hi Wes, Hi Steph, love your reactions!

2023-06-22 03:50:58 +0000 UTCOctarine as Okarin, I can see it, because of pronunciation. But really? Despite having such a small amount of comments, they still do not read? Did they state it, or do you just assume it because they never reply?

2023-06-22 02:31:06 +0000 UTCSorry, I was indeed trolling. They don't read comments anyway so I was sure they wouldn't even consider my suggestion. If I would recommend something, I'd rather recommend Stein;s Gate, although Code Geass is great too.

2023-06-22 02:09:21 +0000 UTCThe only "exciting" episode (because of horniness) in the whole season of Goblins Slayer is ep 1. And all talkative reactors, who are not afraid to admit it, are continually disappointed with how boring the show is after ep 1. Stop trolling, better suggest something like Code Geass.

2023-06-21 21:29:24 +0000 UTCBtw this episode is an OVA and not technically episode 24. It is an episode situated between episode 16 and 17. The final episode of the season is episode 23, in which you missed a lot of stuff by skipping the ending.

2023-06-21 21:11:11 +0000 UTCEris, along with most people in this world, has never had an aversion to killing people like Rudy has. When Eris and Rudy were kidnapped back in episode 5, Eris wasn't affected in the slightest when Ghislaine diced those kidnappers to pieces. I've always put this down to death and the risk of dying being a far more common part of life in this type of medieval world. I think that is also how Eris was able to shake off the death of her family so quickly. I think it's also harsh on Cliff to say that he let his tutors die as he did tell Eris that they should stay out of it. Plus, Eris had not displayed her full strength at that point so he had no reason to think that she would or could take on those guys and then she just charged at them without warning him. Episode 23 is actually the last episode of the season. This is just an extra episode that takes place during episode 16 and was released 3 months after the season had finished which is probably why it's labeled as episode 24 on Crunchyroll. Also, I don't consider this a spoiler as it's skipped content from the Light Novel that these episodes were adapted from and will hardly affect the main story. But, just in case you really don't want to know anything outside of the anime. POSSIBLE SPOILER: It's pretty funny that Steph immediately thought that Therese was Zenith. It definitely wasn't a stupid question as Therese is actually Zenith's sister and is said to look so similar to Zenith that when Rudy first met her, he actually thought she was Zenith. Therese was demoted due to what happened in this episode and sent to work in West port as a punishment where she ran into Eris again with Rudy and Ruijerd. When she realised who Rudy was, she helped him and the others cross to the Central continent.

2023-06-21 18:58:23 +0000 UTCWes on Eris fighting goblins - "Why are they different from demons?" May I interest you in this exciting anime, "Goblin Slayer"?

2023-06-21 18:48:25 +0000 UTCI really love how they introduced a LOT of important characters in this OVA + more worldbuilding too. And it's funny because after that day, not even once, Eris mentioned Cliff or Therese to Rudy. I think it's because for her, they're not really important and once she saw Rudeus depressed, she already forgot about them. Anyways, thank you for reacting to this OVA. I can't wait to watch you guys react to 2nd season of Mushoku Tensei this July 2. And also, still waiting for the KonoSuba movie reaction.
