I recommend making a reaction to all the JoJo openings before the upcoming JoJo release. It won't take a lot of time (one session will be enough), and it will attract a fair number of new watchers to your channel without too much effort, since the attention around JoJo will be pretty high in the next few months. Newcomers reacting to JoJo openings and trying to make sense of them have always been pretty popular on Youtube, and I think W&S can try it out too.

I highly recommend checking out Beastars. The series wrapped up fairly recently, and I think it's an exceptional story with deep themes. Maybe toss it into your next poll? I doubt it'd win though. There's a bit of a stigma around anthropomorphic animals as well as 3D animation in anime. Totally up to you either way!

The Ghost in the Shell official trailer was recently released, and is receiving a lot of hype from fans where this will be the first faithful adaptation of the original manga. Gits is one of the most iconic and influential anime ever made, and it garnered a cult following after the 1995 movie released on VHS. The new Ghost in the Shell series is set to premiere in July of this year.

Rascal Doesn't Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (13 episodes season 1, 3 movies, season 2 of 13 episodes and then a final movie that is coming out at the end of this year): Drama and Romance about growing up and social problems in society. Really smart show with great dialog that you two would really appreciate. Grand Blue Dreaming (24 episodes with season 3 in the future): Comedy and Diving show that is in collage. To Be Hero X (24 episodes and season 2 that will be the final season that will be 24 episodes) A creative show with it's graphics and animation, strong story that you two will really appreciate. Undead Unluck (24 episodes season 1 then a special and season 2 will come out in the future) One of the best power system in recent years to come out, An Action Romance show that wants the viewer to pay attention and analyze the relationships between characters and how their powers work. Sakamoto Days (22 episodes season 1 with season 2 coming out in the future) Take John Wick and Spy x Family and combine them, you get Sakamoto Days. Wind Breaker (25 episodes) An action show that focuses on our main character and we see him grow as a person, this show have themes of acceptance and growth. The Elusive Samurai (12 episodes and season 2 comes out at July 2026) A historical revenge story with superb animation with a lot of other themes that you two would appreciate. Mashle Magic and Muscles (24 episodes with season 3 that comes out in 2027) A Comedy anime that is ridiculous and funny at the same time with colorful characters. Take Harry Potter and add to it One Punch Man and what you get is Mashle. Akane-Banshi (Comes out this April) A story about story tellers that is a breath of fresh air in recent years. Witch Hat Atelier (Comes out this April) A Fantasy anime that is really going to be amazing with great world building and superb magical system. The Eminences in Shadow (32 episodes with a movie that is going to be released in the future) A show that tries to take itself seriously but because our Main Character doesn't, he thinks that every other character is humoring him. Dr. Stone (82 episodes with final part of season 4 releasing in April 2026) A show about the rebuild of humanity and the challenges that come out with that. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Really Love You (24 episodes with season 3 confirmed for 2026) A Harem, Romance, Comedy show that is really interesting because it switches between wholesome and not. The author is very talented with how he juggle a lot of characters around, every GF feels unique and different from the others. Each one gets a good screen time, all the characters help each other a lot with there personal problems. Our MC is amazing. It's a very funny show. There are a couple of problems with this show it isn't perfect. a couple of the relationships for you will be problematic. This is a show that common sense needs to be thrown out of the window the moment that you start to watch it. Orb About the Movement of the Earth (25 episodes) It's really hard to describe this show but I know that you would really enjoy it. Danmachi (74 episodes with season 6 in the workes) A Fantasy show that tells the typical story from zero to hero, with a lot of twists and each season becomes better then the previous. Wistoria Wand and Sword (12 episodes with season 2 coming out in April 2026) A Fantasy show with an interesting story and world that the story takes place. Shangri-La Frontier (50 episodes with season 3 confirmed) In your reactions you always bring up video games, this anime is about video games with mystery, great worldbuilding, great action, fabulous animation, a story with a sense of adventure that makes you want to see more, the author put a lot of thought about the games that he made in his world. all the support cast is diversify and aren't feel like one note because they actually have a personality. the only problem with this show is the copyright hell that this show brings when it comes to YouTube. but as a Patreon exclusive it would be great. Heavenly Delusional (12 episodes) Mystery show that is very interesting. My Hero Academia Vigilante (26 episodes) a spinoff show of My Hero that you can watch after season 4 of My Hero. Gachiakuta (24 episodes with season 2 that would come out in the future) An Action Mystery show with an interesting world. Anime that I didn't watched but I would recommend: Cowboy Bebop Bleach Summer Time Rendering Link and Click Saga of Tanya the Evil The Summer Hikaru Died Yu Yu Hakusho Fire Force Samurai Champloo

Since no one is recommending this one so let me be the one. Uma Musume One of the best sport anime in my opinion. Right now it's my 2nd favorite sport anime just below Haikyuu. For best quality start with the "Beginning of a new era" movie or the "Cinderella gray" spinoff. Although I'd prefer to start from the beginning with season 1 and continue in order of release. There will be people who will trash talk season one. Just ignore them. Honestly I don't understand the hate. Sure ss1 has the lowest quality compared to other seasons/movie/spinoff. But that's because they were not sure on what direction to go with for the serie and the budget was comparatively low. That said it's still quite good, and it serve well as a foundation to start season 2 which has the best narative so far. Anyway, plz watch Uma Musume, it's great. Btw the characters are based on their real life version and the events mostly follow what really happened in realife. It makes the drama even better once you know that. Also don't google the real life events to avoid spoilers.

Maybe this is a better place to suggest / gauge others' interests. Would y'all think reaction to "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" a good idea? It would fit very well the channel's positioning (W&S love mysteries, and they are parents). It is also (still) very topical, and therefore great for Youtube viewership. I know video games are not what they typically react to, but I've seen cutscene-only reactions that are very entertaining and did very well as well. It will work just like a movie. I would love to see them at least try the prologue. (And of course, this is just to gauge interests. Wes and Steph can decide to not do anything with this.)

Would like to make a couple of suggestions for you guys: After HunterXHunter you should take a look at Togashi's earlier work 'Yu Yu Hakusho'. It would be really nice to see you guys check out a show from him that is wrapped up and finished. You should also take a look at Spice and Wolf (the remake from 2024. It has a similar vibe to Apothecary Diaries and Frieren, and follows a medieval merchant who ends up traveling with a wolf goddess.

It's funny that people keep mentioning Made in Abyss in the comments. Recently I have learned about the controversial children book named "The big ugly monster and the little stone rabbit" and it gave me big Made in Abyss vibes. I saw a lot of parents trying to cancel this book because it made their children cry, but for some reason I feel convinced that whoever cried to this story in their childhood will end up being an emotionally decent adult later on, because that means they could feel empathy for someone less fortunate than themselves (in this case a fictional character), which is a quality many modern humans seem to lack. So maybe it's not always a bad thing to traumatize children. Back in the day, fairy tales for children used to be pretty scary because they had warnings to deliver about the dangers of Life. Nowadays parents make their children watch brainrot content like Dora the explorer or Teletubbies, and that braindead content is supposed to be considered healthy for them. I wish adults would put a stop to this culture of treating children like idiots.

If you guys are ever looking for another sports anime, a classic baseball one that shaped a whole generation of japanese baseball athletes is called Major, its a bit old but it follows the mc's life journey from age 5 to being a parent himself (rare for a sports anime to progress past 1 year of highschool). This show doesn't get nearly enough love outside of japan but it really is a beautiful show that those who grew up with it will never forget and it shows a person growing through life and learning in a way that helped shape me so I hope you guys will consider it!

On that post people, usually write their recommendations with out checking if the show they recommended already appeared in the same post. So what happens is that we have double or triple the name of the same show instead of once. Because of the system that this channel use is about the number of likes to the comments, the more likes to the comments the name of the show will show on a poll. But because people just jump the gun, and write their recommendations with out checking if someone already wrote it, then the likes are split instead of it being on one comment.

Your strength as a channel is character/theme analysis so I would say it's a great show for that. Great character studies in here. Looking forward to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners at some point. I know it's probably been recommended to you guys many times, since it's a very good show for reaction: It's only 10 episodes long (good for churning out a quick YT video), and it has everything: drama, actions, romance, social commentary, deep characters, and a very mature theme. Both are great, but if I had to choose, I’d vote for Saiki. The problem with Gintama is that it contains so many references to other anime, media as a whole, and even stuff like real life Japanese politics. Not to mention, many jokes don’t translate well or just don’t hit as hard in English. Also, it has almost 400 episodes - more than double HxH. I don’t really mind, but some people already think HxH is too long.

In a nutshell I recommend seinen animes since Wesly and Stephany are adults. I got dogpiled by a bunch of people for my opinion and my attempt to catch wes' and stephs' attention was in vain. Ok I lost. I shot my shot. All I want to say is poll system seems to vote out a Shonen anime: anime who's tartget group are children from 11 to 14 roughly. They might be good but not enough. Wes and Steph decide on their own to watch something outside the poll system and enjoy them much more then those voted on the polls thus my comment. Guys, don't get mad about the fact the you are serving a couple of 30+ year olds anime made for younger population. I simply made suggestions they might pick up on the whim. They are very observant reactors and I think those animes will bring them more joy. If I want to watch youtubers react to cheap “epic” scenes with nothing but shock values, I won’t be watching Wes and Steph. I watch Wes and Steph because they are smart and so good at reacting to mysteries and suspense. They never stop theorising what come next. They are actually eager to understand more about the complex worlds in those shows that actually have great world building. They are able to analyse and articulate the deeper meanings of the shows. I watch Wes and Steph because they are not your average youtubers that just wow on everything. I don’t speak for everyone, but neither do you. As of sept 30th there are 157 episodes spread across 7 seasons + 9 OVAS + 3 movies. the 7th season is currently airing with 2 episodes left, then, the 8th season will be the end. Yeah, that would be a great idea for several reasons: - once the current seasons of Mushoku Tensei and Konosuba end it would be a perfect show to fill in that isekai whole. - season 3 will debut in October of this year and it will be one of the biggest shows of that season, episode 1 has been confirmed to be 90 minutes long and it will play in theaters for a limited time in July and August. Not all good anime are suitable for reactions. A show that's simply "good" doesn't necessarily produce a lot of react-able moments. To produce enterntaining reactions, you guys need shows with a lot of twist and turns (like AOT). If you guys are looking for anime to react to, I have two excellent shows to recommend: Made in Abyss The Promised Neverland Both shows have fascinating settings and have plenty of "react-able" moments that will shock you to your core.

I know you guys have a lot on your plate in terms of reactions, but I am really interested to see your reactions to a completely different type of content (if you're able to)! As an American, when I first saw this show, it was fascinating to see the differences between Korean media (at least in this instance) and the common themes among American media. At least for me, the biggest thing I noticed was the difference in dynamic between the competitors and the lack of a "bad singer" narrative (if that makes sense ?)--as in, I feel like most American singing competitions single out a scapegoat from the get-go and really destroy their self-esteem (imo). There also seems to be a lack of "sabotage-based" competition (or creating crazy out-of-context narratives) which I thought was really interesting. This survival-type of singing competition called "I-Land" is something that was put together by Bang Si-Hyuk where 23 male trainees compete to debut as an idol group. Not to give away too much, but, our boys make a couple of cameos in the series! They give such good advice to the competitors and bring some fun chaotic energy (as always)! :D Anyway, if you're curious in checking it out, I'll provide a link to a YouTube playlist with ENG subtitles. There are 2 that I know you'll love - the 1st is 25 21, an amazing slice of life story with great character development, a distinct plot, and an endearing love story.  The 2nd is Mr Queen. There are so many styles of Kdramas, Period pieces are quite popular but you guys haven't experienced one yet. Mr Queen is one of the best I've seen, it's funny yet serious with a great plot and unique romance. Both dramas are those 'it's so good it's hard to forget' types of shows 😄

Both warmed my hearts and just made me really happy, so I second this suggestion. Perhaps I might even add "Your lie in April" (If you like a heavy injection of diegetic music as a driving force to the story) as well as "my love story with Yamada-kun" (Although that one is a much smaller in scale love story, it's still really sweet more mature than I was expecting in how they handled different types of people and emotional themes)

I think you guys would love the kdrama called "move to heaven" as an autistic person i felt the mc who has autism was sooo well done and the actor was great at the role! Another great kdrama is "weak class hero 1" its an edgy teen drama with lots of different psychological stuff related to the mc! Both are super interesting to me personally with insanely good actors

i can recommend you to react to Psycho pass, because honestly i dont get this its a damn great anime which kinda goes to the direction of death note but only the police part and work, ofc there is much more into it and a great story and i couldnt find anyone reacting to it, at least noone with a decent camera or slightly intersting personality. It als was really popular when the show aired, but today noone is reacting to it. Pretty much everyone is reacting to attack on titan or jujutsu kaisen the really big shows which ofc is also great, but seriously there is noone reacting to that and if you liked death note you will defently like psycho pass, i really hope you could do that, you would defently be the first ones with personality at least and not crappy quality XD
