It is a perfect mix of action, drama and romance, with some focus on parent-child relationship that I think you guys will enjoy and resonate. I personally think it is one of the best screenwriting in Korean dramas in recent years, devoid of the cliches that many K-dramas possess nowadays.

2023-12-09 21:41:20 +0000 UTCI think for them the hardest to pronounce is the double t in ‘tteok’ but the easiest way for me to explain it is instead of pronouncing it like a hard t as in tiger where the tongue touches the roof of your mouth, it’s more like a soft d/th sound like in “the” where the tongue touches the back of your teeth. I hope that makes sense. Or just watch a YouTube video on the pronunciation lol

Second syllable, 'bo' is pronounced how you would say 'beau' or 'bow'. Last syllable, a really hard 'K' sound, like saying the word 'key'. All together; 'Tuck-bow-key'. A thing to note, is to hit the 'k' sound in the last syllable a little early, like saying 'bowk-key' with still keeping the same pronunciation on 'bow'. "Tuck-bowk-key" or Tteokbokki. This is the best way for me to explain it if you can't read hangul, but obviously when you learn the way letters sound in korean, the spelling for tteokbokki becomes obvious. Well, the ending seems to have a pattern from the 3 you watched, 1st not quite, 2nd truly satisfied, 3rd not quite, so 4th one should have a great ending too! hahaha You did have quite a variety from those 3! Hopefully you can watch those where its a period one where they are in traditional clothes, so you would also know of their palaces, hierarchies, etc..I hope someone would recommend something nice!
