2023-10-21 04:04:56 +0000 UTCfor context: South Korea has a huge problem with spy cameras and non-consensual filming of women. single women who are living by themselves are often targeted. its awful :/ it was actually really nice that they showed how someone who is your affluent, well-mannered neighbor could also be a perpetrator instead of simply making it some shady dude from the get-go.

2023-10-20 19:29:05 +0000 UTCSouth Korea has a big problem with hidden spy cameras (they call it "molka"). you can find them in public spaces such as changing rooms, hotel rooms, bathrooms etc. it was a widely discussed social issue especially few years ago, that's why this stalker plotline isnt really random - its a form of a social commentary
