I hate to say it, especially because I really didn't want to watch the show, but it's getting so good, and I related way too hard to Mogami and Mob, not on the strength to do anything and succumbing to it bit, but basically on how far you can be pushed to breaking if you don't have something to hold onto. Someone to trust even when you can't trust yourself and how important that is to have when you are absorbing so much from your negative environment. Been through something very similar and all I had to look at for guidance was BTS lol sounds so cliche to say though..

Dont remember perfectly but Mogami was slightly tweaking the girl’s personality at points to make Mob dislike her more. When she was on the ground and Mob told her to apologize Mogami essentially thought ‘Wow, even after all of this he’d leave her be if she apologized’ so he made her stab him with a box cutter before the big brick to the back of the head. May be mistaken on this but I think they hurt the cat too

His power is absolutely unmatched and even with the best of intentions, he has the ability to shape the world as he pleases. It's not that he doesn't get that using his powers in some ways/circumstances is okay and in others it's not. It's the fact HE has to be the one to decide on these rules that is terrifying. If you're given the supernatural power to kill anyone you want easily, sure, you could only kill bad people and thus lead the world in the better direction. Like, with a magic notebook or something. The life-and-death powers surely cannot backfire in the hands of a single human if he's well-intentioned enough, right? Right? Mogami was like Mob. Crazy powers, he could do what he wanted, decide people's fate. He tried to do the right thing, just like Mob. But when faced with the harsh reality of life, he eventually snapped. Mob was put in a similar situation, an unjust, unreasonable cruelty for the sake of it, and even him, the bestest boy in anime, was pushed to the same limit. Dimple bringing back his memories of all the people in his life, the ones who care about him and whom he cares about, was THE difference here.
