Sylphy had green hair because of a thing called the Laplas Factor. I don't want to spoil to much but pretty much it's similar to how rudy has such a large mana pool. If you remember, The Dragon God said that Rudy had enough mana to rival Laplas. I don't want to spoil to much for people currently watching or reading but it's talked about a little more in the Novel. Also so their isn't any confusion, it is true that a person can extend the amount of mana they have by using it often but the amount of mana Rudy has is as much as 50x more than the average mage. Hope this helps clear some confusion.

2024-11-02 05:22:23 +0000 UTCBit late to this as I am rewatching it but to clear up something about rudeus’ demon eye it’s not something that can be simply turned off and on that’s why people like ghislaine wear an eyepatch however as rudeus is as we know very talented with mana manipulation he can control it so that the eye can see fractions of a second into the future which prevents it from effecting his daily life

Her hating Paul and "not wanting to be his daughter-in-law" is not the real reason she didn't try to seduce Rudy after they first met. She found him very attractive and wanted to sleep with him despite knowing the complications that might arise with Paul, Zenith, and Roxy. She did try to seduce him and even felt him up a little but stopped once she saw the pendant. When she leaves one of her children she gives them a custom-made pendant. The pendant Slyphy sent to Rudy for his birthday was a replica of the one that Elinalise gave to Slyphy's father. She realised that Rudy must be close to one of her grandchildren. The real reason why she didn't try to sleep with him is that she didn't want to interfere with the people connected to her children/grandchildren.

The green hair thing will be brought up eventually, and itll be explained. Neither of her parents had green hair.

2024-04-17 22:25:17 +0000 UTCit was established in the novels as elinalise and rudy were traveling to the school that elinalise doesnt have kids often as humans struggle to get elves pregnant, but when she does get pregnant, she simple settles down and raises the kid, keeping her relation to the vague and tends to remain nameless so they dont have any trouble coming from lise's reputation, then once they are old enough to start their own independent lives she goes back to being an adventurer. Shes never been around to see her children get married and live happy lives, so it was overwhelming to get the chance to see her grandchild get married and start living a happy life

2024-04-17 22:15:59 +0000 UTCthere are situations where magic isnt useful, be you in a tight space or out of mana, so they wanted to see if he could protect her even without it, hence the no magic rule because they already know rudy is a powerful mage. and rudy is literally as good of a swordsman as a regular person is capable of being, he only seemed bad at it because he has been surrounded by people unnaturally skilled

2024-04-17 22:15:26 +0000 UTCTo be honest, Luke is not a very skilled swordsman. At least not compared to others that we have seen like Paul, Eris, Ghislaine and Gallus Cleaner. For a refresher, the ranks in magic and sword fighting are beginner, intermediate, advanced, saint, king, emperor, god. Luke is intermediate in the sword god style and a beginner in the water god style. To put it into perspective, Eris was an advanced tier swordswoman before the teleportation incident when she was still 12. It's revealed in the light novel that Luke is decked out in incredibly expensive magic equipment that increase his strength and speed. Even with all this stuff Rudy beats him easily remarking that even though he used his demon eye, he didn't actually need to. After they get back inside, Sylphy even thanks Rudy for going easy on Luke because if Rudy had used his true strength he could have easily killed Luke. To be honest, Luke is only Ariel's bodyguard because they are really good friends and he is from a powerful house. Sylphy is way way stronger than Luke and hard carries as Ariel's bodyguard. Sylphy is advanced tier in Water, Earth, Wind, Healing and Detoxification magic as well as being intermediate in Fire magic and being able to do all of these without any incantations. When it comes to fighting humans, Sylphy is better than even Rudeus because she has a ton of experience from protecting Ariel from assassins and she has no qualms about killing people like Rudy does. Rudy is officially intermediate in the sword god style but with his level of experience in combat and with his demon eye he is almost certainly an advanced tier swordsman in actuality. Also, Rudy is in peak physical shape and trains with his sword every day while, as far as I know, Luke stopped training with his sword when he was 13 and basically spends his days guarding Ariel and womanising. They haven't covered this in the show for some reason and I don't think they ever will given that they haven't done it yet, but just in case you don't want any possible spoilers at all then there are possible SPOILERS below. Warriors in this world can coat themselves in a "battle aura" that allows them to move impossibly fast and strike things with incredible power as well as strengthen their weapons and make their skin tougher. This was shown in season 1 when Paul cut a huge rock in half with a wooden sword. Normally, fighters naturally get this as they train physically but for reasons that I definitely cannot get into for fear of spoilers, Rudy is completely unable to do this. That is the reason why he never improved past intermediate tier as to advance further you have to have the benefits that battle aura gives you.

2024-04-17 22:05:15 +0000 UTCrudy does canonically like men who look like girls, he admits that to geese in the novels when they were in prison together. basically rudy was looking at him weird and was naked at the time so geese worriedly asks if hes into men to which he says roughly "no, im into women from 12-40, though i make an exception for men who look like girls" im paraphrasing but the 12-40 thing is the numbers he gave, he was 12 at the time in the story but we all know that hardly makes it any better

2024-04-17 20:22:17 +0000 UTCAbout the duel: Rudeus is at about the strength a human can have without magical enhancement (which he can't use) via normal training and exercise. That said, his senses are tuned to a way higher level than what Luke can do. He trained with Paul and Ghislaine, survived the Demon continent, knew Ruijerd - a several hundred year old hero/boogie-man, knew Eris who was incredibly talented for her age. The list goes on. Meanwhile Luke is about as average a knight as you can get. In the LN Rudeus did use his eye but observed Luke was so slow compared to what he's used to he probably would have won just as easy without it.
