Sacramento Republic FC vs. Phoenix Rising FC -REACTION!

Comments

Do Monterey Bay FC vs Phoenix Rising FC. They play on Saturday so you’ll have to wait a day but it’s going to be a good match. I’m a season ticket holder for Monterey Bay FC and we’re a relatively new club founded just last year. Really love your channel and it’s awesome you’re branching out to USL as well. There’s also USL League One as well and I suggest you take a look at those as well.

Yeah no problem. I’ve acquired a lot of random knowledge about the American soccer pyramid and it’s become a passion of mine. I’ll say another thing to consider is maybe you could bring your music reactions here so they don’t get copyright strikes. Those were pretty popular videos so that might bring a lot of traffic to the patreon as well.

Sacramento is usually always near the top of the league in attendance. Their stadium can hold over 11,000. They typically bring around 9,000-10,000 on weekend games and around 5,000-6,000 for midweek games like that one. The other leaders in attendance are Louisville City, San Antonio, El Paso, New Mexico, Phenix, Colorado Springs and although official attendance is rarely tallied I know from attending many games Birmingham would be near the top. Our stadium can hold 47,000 in Birmingham and the lower bowl fills in quite nicely, so if it were taken I’d expect it to be 8,00-10,000 if not more. Sacramento is indeed a really really strong side. Last year they made it to the final of the U.S. Open Cup. The U.S. Open cup is the American version of the English FA Cup. All MLS, USL Championship, USL League one, NISA teams compete and semi pro teams from the UPSL, NPSL, and USL League two go through a qualification process that runs from September to January for the remaining, I think it’s now 12, spots for semipro and amateur teams. Last year Sacramento knocked off I wanna say it was three different MLS teams on root to being the first non-MLS team to even play in a final since 2008. They did eventually lose 3-0 to Orlando City though not without some controversy. Orlando was caught spying on Sacramento practices and not punished. I think the republic crashed out in the round of thirty-two this year though. The two darling teams this year were my Birmingham Legion and our second biggest rival Pittsburgh River Hounds who both made it to the quarterfinals before being bounced by MLS opposition. Birmingham lost 1-0 to inter Miami in a game that, by anyone who watched it, could determine was a fixed outcome by the U.S. Soccer federation because we lost to them on the day Messi was announced as coming to Miami in June and Pittsburgh lost 4-1 to FC Cincinnati, but both beat MLS opposition to make it to the quarters. Birmingham beat my Charlotte and Pittsburgh beat both New England and Columbus. There is, indeed, a considerable amount of quality in the USLC. Many players are former MLS players who came here to retire or just because they had some down seasons in MLS and want to try something different in hopes of having a great season and getting noticed again. There’s also a lot of young MLS talent on loan to USLC sides. A lot of players who’ve graduated the MLS academies, moved past the MLS Next Pro level, which is the MLS equilavent of the Premire League II thing, but aren’t quite ready for the A squad are loaned to smaller USLC clubs where they will be played and get game experience instead of rotting on the bench in MLS. In regards to promotion and relegation between MLS and USL it’ll probably never happen. A majority of fans want it to happen, but there is too much money in MLS. MLS has been designed where you have to pay an expansion fee to compete. How would you convince the twenty-nine owners that they can now get relegated after some of them have contributed hundreds of millions into a league where they were promised a safe investment? Hell, San Diego is joining in 2025 and they were announced a couple months ago. Their owner just paid half a billion dollars to have the right to compete in MLS. How would you then convince him to keep him team if he could get relegated in year one? This is the problem MLS has run into now that the league is stable enough to have pro/rel. There is, however, a USL vote on promotion and relegation upcoming. At the league meetings where all the USL Championship and USL League one owners will meet in Colorado from August 9-11 one of the things on the calendar is to vote on promotion and relegation. The tentative plan is to have promotion and relegation between the USL Championship and USL League one. They will also create a middle league between the two to have three divisions if it passes. From what we understand, USL League II will not be involved as it is semiprofessional and consistent of 122 teams broken into 8 regions each region with a subdivision so working out pro/rel with that would be a gargantuan mess. I will also spread the word about your Patreon to help you out. It could be beneficial to advertise it on every single video you record and let people know what’s on it just so it’d be impossible for people to forget about. Posting a link to the patreon in the pinned comment on each YouTube video could also help drive more traffic.

In this game, Phoenix didn't have their starting gk for the game, I think this would have been a 1-0 game if Phoenix had their full starting squad out.

Sacramento Republic is a very good team. They made it to the US Open Cup final last year. The first lower league team to do it since Charleston Battery in 2008.

Apologies I’ll change that asap👍🏾

Dear BANGSO. This might just be me doing something wrong as this is my first time using Patreon, but the video won’t play on my end. It says it’s private. Also, when you get a chance could you react to Louisville City FC vs Birmingham Legion FC from July 22?
