I've been watching USL for over a decade (team is NCFC). A lot of the players play in USL instead of MLS simply because they are inconsistent. You will see a lot of quality and then a lot of blunders. Still many players who move on to bigger things. You had a couple of former USL guys that are now playing with Messi on the pitch in Miami. Anything can happen.

I watched them a couple times when they were in the midst of their nine game unbeaten streak a little over a month ago and I’m questioning if this is the same team. The game I watched back then was their game against Tampa Bay who, themselves, were in the midst of an twelve game unbeaten streak of their own. That was a phenominal game. I don’t know what the hell I just watched there if I’m being honest. Well I just heard a sentence I don’t think you ever imagined yourself ever saying… “I think the defending is better in the MLS.” Although it’s a true statement, it still made me get a good laugh because that’s probably the only time I’ve ever heard someone say that fact out loud before. I hadn’t actually watched the highlights of this game before I recommended it, there was too many games across leagues cup and the lower leagues to have seen them all, but when I looked at the scoreline and the fact that it was a derby I had said to myself this seems like a BANGSO kinda game. I was not expecting RGV to look that dominate nor was I expecting El Paso to be that bad. This game is essentially the roles of the seasons in opposites. El Paso played like RGV had most of the season and RGV like El Paso. I had thought that RGV maybe had capitalized on like one or two El Paso players getting sent off to win 5-2, but nope…El Paso forgot to show up I guess. Class reaction regardless. Gracie Lynn :)

That was just ridiculous and even in this league for all the nutty stuff that happens I’ve never seen someone scuff a pass back to the keeper that badly
