What a brilliant episode! I've not cried this much in my life at the end, I was pretty much like Violet at the end. Even though it was thoroughly sad, I was laughing at how much I was crying, lol. And I cried for Violet as well, being happy for her development. Edit: just watched the end talk, and it made me laugh, it's like Wes is just trying to make Steph bawl! haha!

2024-03-10 14:20:58 +0000 UTCI think one of the reasons Ann's mother had her play with Violet and spend time with her was so that Ann could get used to forming relationships with people beside her mother. There didn't seem to be any other kids for her to be friends with, and her relatives certainly didn't seem caring. She knew how lonely Ann was going to be, but didn't want her to stay lonely. Like you said, parents have so much they need to teach their kids, and sometimes those lessons are hard on the parent and the child.
