I always thought that this future… isn’t from Eren. It’s Yamir’s anger, this is her wrath, this isn’t what Greisha or Eren wanted, this is really what Yamir wants.

As for why not all would be royal blood, I think they diluted the blood at some point until non royals were inheriting the spines. Cuz after a while, a child of a child of a child, you will weed out the direct line

2024-05-09 13:10:00 +0000 UTCGrisha didn't kill the Royal family because the wall had been breached, he didn't even know when it was going to happen. Eren only told him that it was going to happen sometime soon. Grisha kills the Royal family at the exact moment that Bertholdt kicks open the gate and lets the titans in. It's never made clear if Eren intentionally showed Grisha but also while killing the Royal family he sees the Rumbling. He sees Zeke and begs him to stop Eren but once he calms down he decides to not give Eren the Founding Titan. However, when he is nearly home he learns about the wall being breached. When Eren tells him of Carla's death that's a catalyst for Grisha. In his rage at losing yet another person he loves to Marley he changes his mind and he gives Eren the Founding Titan to avenge Carla and give Eren a way to defend himself so Eren doesn't die to Marley too.

If eren has memories of the past (like when she touches Historia, Grisha wouldn't be able to see that because it's not something Eren sees visually. He just access memories from his past inheritor (Grisha). For Grisha to see something from Eren's future, Eren needs to see it himself or live it himself. So when he connected with Zeke and they went through the memories it created an actual action and memory Eren lived that he could then share back to Grisha. Only the attack titan can have this power, but the founding titan power of living through memories allowed Eren to create that connection

The king and his kids are royal and have royal blood, while the rest of the population is just danish. We have plenty of fairy tales here where someone put a spell under the kingdom, which results in the citizens being cursed.

So lets again assume they each get three children each. Maria, Rose and Sina now have nine children between them. All Royal blood. The only factor we don't know is how many children they actually got. However we can assume the family descendants of a family expands. To simplify it we can say we begin with 2 parents and their children each get 2 kids. Which would make the equation 2^generations. Assuming 50 generations in 2000 years that would leave the total pop at a million billion... Another thing you problably didn't notice is that King Fritz calls his people for Eldians, they are problably more the bearer of the "curse" than they are direct descendants of Ymir. But we can do some math in case. As you notice "King Fritz" is actually the one in control of Ymir or was.

2024-04-18 21:09:16 +0000 UTCFritz is a name passed down through the royal family, that was the 1st Fritz, I think the Fritz that made the war pact was the 3rd (I could be wrong of the number, but he was a Fritz) so there's been multiple Fritz. You can watch that opening now I believe. The reason Ymir never spoke is because all the slaves had their tongues cut out, they showed it, but you both believed they were just being killed. I could be wrong with this, but there's 9 titans because Ymirs daughters each had 3 kids, so that's how the 9 titan powers got seperated. I think the reason Erens titan looks like that is because his head was cut off, so that's the "parasite" connecting his head to his body.

He saw no other choice in which his friends would be allowed to stay alive, especially with the world tech now being a threat even against Titan, as we saw at the start of the season. Eren is truly one of the few capable of being able to commit mass genocide in order to save his own, like Reiner said at the end of season 2 "The worst possible person to ever have this kind of power is you, Eren!"

2024-04-18 20:39:18 +0000 UTCProbably should have worded my comment better: a full scale rumbling was the most radical, destructive, evil, and selfish method towards any semblance of peace. A smaller rumbling would just weaken the enemy while raising animosity — it's far from a good option but still *comparatively* better. NO OPTION would be easy or morally correct, there will always be a shadow connected. However they could have used Zeke’s royal blood to negotiate, they could have asked Ymir to remove their titan abilities like Steph thought about, they could have gone ahead with Zeke’s plan. The “I'll steal from others before they can steal from me” mindset that Eren has was enforced by the world he lives in. I understand. But it's this mindset that perpetuates this violence. And yes it's realistic in a way, for such drastic choices to be made, but stories don't have to take such directions for it to be considered a masterpiece. *SPOILERS* breaking the cycle (for a while anyway) by killing literally 80% of the population is horrendous and, in my eyes, not necessary.

So lets say he did a small rumbling, people that are not Eldian would still view the Eldians as a threat and would come together to attack them. Its just like real war. If you're prepared to attack someone, you better be prepared to get wiped out in case it goes bad. - What do you think a small scale rumbling would accomplish in this case?

Who was descendant of the royal family who remains on Marley and then married Grisha and gave birth to Zeke So Rod Reiss (Historia's father) is a Fritz along with his brother Uri (Historia's uncle) and his sons and daughters Frieda and Historia are all Fritz and belong to the 1st horrible king Fritz who enslaved Ymir

2024-04-18 18:59:35 +0000 UTCThere are actually several theories about why isn’t everybody considered royal blood, one is that by royal blood they don’t mean actual royalty but whoever out of the three daughters of Ymir and Fritz the first inherited the founding titan after eating the remains of her mother, so if for example it was Maria only her children would be royal blood and then only her grandchildren, another theory (and the most plausible one tbh) is that royalty works the same as in our world, out of the three daughters only one ended up being the queen, and when the queen had kids those kids started to mix only among each other, meaning they would marry their cousin or brother, that kept the royal blood only in one line and the blood of the other two sisters eventually got diluted enough for it to not be able to make an impact

While it would suck that Eldians can't have kids anymore, I would think that in exchange for getting rid of titans and ending the cycle, it would be well worth it. Adoption could be an option :shrug:
