They definitely can’t try out new techniques on the fly, even in practice games lol. Like coach said, that’s how people could get hurt since the whole team isn’t on the same page. They need to have these discussions, set up a plan that works for everybody, not just hinata, then practice. They are growing… but have a long way to go lol

His block is by far worse than Tsuki's (yeah he can jump high, but Tsuki will reach that highest point faster since he is taller) and Tsuki&Kageyama can also read and guess where to block better than Hinata. And he is one of the weakest on his team in terms of serves and receives. From the perspective of Kageyama, Suga and coach, Hinata does seem selfish since he wants to be the ace (at least that's how they might interpret it), while not focusing on his weak points.

We have to understand that right now Hinata is really lacking as a player. He can't serve, he can't receive, the only reason he is being play is because he can match Kageyama. Him improving as a player overall, which is what other characters are all doing, is a much safer bet than trying to improve an already borderline supernatural play, especially for a tournament that's only a month away. If they failed it would have been all the time wasted and it will affect not only Hinata but the whole team, especially the third years who is going to their last tournament. Both have their points but for me, i think Hinata is being really selfish here and i agree more with Kageyama.
