Ok so none of the comments have mentioned but just want to inform you, that actor that they served bill of indictment died irl last year 2023, no conclusive reason but exacerbated medical issues. He's health just suddenly declined, they reported. He was only 36 yrs old. RIP Na Chul.

This is my 3rd time watching and never realized how the first few episodes are all over the place xD You'll get used to it and see how amazing this show is. It gets better and better. I'm so excited, can't wait for next week. xD

Fun fact: The maypole dance is a pagan tradition to celebrate fertility and the ties of family. It is seen for Beltane in Scotland and Norwegian/Germanic countries as well as Italy because it originated in the Norwegian/Germanic countries as a Norse pagan tradition, it spread to the Roman empire from going to try to convert the tribes and later to Scotland and then the America's through immigration. A majority of the immigrants in the South East are Germanic, and the majority in the west are Scottish or Irish (who also picked up the tradition) so that's how we got it here. Each culture put their own spins on it, but the idea is the same. By dancing around the pole and tying the knots, you are intertwining your fates to your family and potential future family, and also representing the tie of your ancestors who are the start of the pole and going down the line of the generations until the future generation. Mainly the unmarried do this, but then at one point, even the old and married began to join in. My family celebrates Beltane every year and while we can't always set up the maypole, we will replace it with knot bands instead, where we braid several colorful strings together to form a band to wear on the wrists while we dance and celebrate the spring. I didn't know until this show that Italy kept the tradition from ancient Rome so I was so confused 😂

Fun fact: The actor playing Vincenzo was married to the main actress from the Glory in real life and they met on a drama they did together before but they got divorced a few years ago

Fun fact: Cha-young’s assistant is actually an idol too. His is from a popular group called 2PM (one of the members was on the water games episode with Jimin!) He’s originally from America that’s why when he speaks english he has a different accent.
