2024-11-11 21:06:40 +0000 UTCWell, Idk if you know this, but V's relationship with the agency has never been good, he was hidden from the public until their debut, that essentially means he didnt know if he were to even debut, i.e. he could be let go any minute, and coulnt even go find other agencies to sign up with, because they hadn't let him go neither had they made him public He was approached by a lot of agencies and brands for solo projects in acting and ads, they didn't let him do it, infact the hwarang role which was catered to him, as told by the producer himself, hybe had all the members audition for it, just because, in the end tae still got it. IDK if you've noticed, his debut album is the least promoted, no US promotions, his sale counts removed, his albums and vinyls never being restocked, his brand deasl being asked to not use their own brand ambassador's photos and signature by hybe, complete sabotage of his debut album and what not. even now, his recent vinyl release was sabotaged, all offline stores, like target etc wwere specifically asked to stock the vinyls only after the tracking period ends, just so it doesnt do well in charts, and you can see the difference as now that his latest collab with Bing Crosby is coming, which btw is not being handled by Hybe at all, is completely handled by his estate, it has been sold out 5 times already within hours. There are a lot of things, which you only notice if you deep dive into it. There is a reason why he chose to do his album not with anyone from Hybe, has his own tae crew now. He gets the least amount of lines, since debut, his range is baritone, he had to modify and work around it, because everyone else had a higher range, and obviously now has the highest range because of that

2024-06-01 04:59:28 +0000 UTCThe nice thing is that when Bang PD started organizing with Hybe he made it so that the Board and stock holders don't have a say when it comes to BigHit artists (BTS, TXT, and Lee Hyun, also who ever else they sign. So BigHit even though they are under Hybe is still seperate at the same times. IDK the details, but that is what I understand and i with eveything going on right now I am glad that Bang PD made it that way. So Bang PD really looked out for his artists'.

I’m so sad they haven’t met yet. He’s very eloquent when he speaks of them as well. Also he used bts song fire in his movie and mentions bts in the movie as well lol. I believe his bias is hobi as he’s mentioned loving hobis hope world album and baseline being his fave song. An example of him talking so highly of bts is here on Fallon. He jumps around based on what he’s focusing on and I think he’s acting as HYBE America’s Executive Creator as the company prepares to debut an American girl group.

2024-05-26 19:24:38 +0000 UTCBTS was asked to speak at the UN General Assembly bc they partnered with UNICEF for the Love Myself Campaign, targeting ending violence against children, where they donated the proceeds they made with sales of the Love Yourself albums (can’t remember the % they donated). At the same time of the campaign, BTS blew up internationally and ARMY was doing a lot of charitable work on BTS’ behalf in those years, so it was perfect timing that they were invited to speak at the UN. I brought it up last week in regard to the behind the scenes of their US performances, but there is also a BTS Episode (on their YouTube channel) that covers the full behind the scenes of that first (and probably all of them now) speech at the UN. Definitely recommend you guys checking out the speech and the BTS episode so you can see RM practice and see the members react/prepare for the event.

Its been a long time since I watched them so I may be wrong on that. There is so much content on BangtanTV, it's a little nuts. And if doesn't have subtitles, Bangtan Subs channel usually has it.

It’s a way of making the artists feel like hardly anyone there supports them. Something that I LOVE about army is that we NEVER participate in black oceans! The word will go round that anti-fans are planning a black ocean for a specific group, and army say “um….no, I’m not doing that” so you’ll always see army bombs cheering for other artists!!
