I love you guys’ commentary! I also forgot how you guys pronounce Muichiro’s surname as “Taquito” 🤣🌮 I feel like the closest to get to pronounce his name in English spelling is Toe-Key-Toe! Instead of Tah-KEET-oh, the way you guys are pronouncing it. But no judging here, the names are completely foreign to us Americans, but I can’t help but to giggle a little when I hear Taquito 😆🤭

2024-06-10 19:45:00 +0000 UTCFun fact At the end of the episode, Tanjiro seems confused about butter and pancakes because it is a western food and he probably never seen it. It’s also written in Hiragana characters ばたー(butter) instead of the usual writing with Katakana バター(butter). Katakana is characters they used to spell out words that’s loaned from overseas, so in this episode it is a joke that Tanjiro is very Japanese and unfamiliar with black tea, butter or pancakes because it is very rare in Japan in that era.
