2024-12-21 01:11:49 +0000 UTCI think the idea behind S;G time travel is that the Kerr Black Hole doesn't create a naked singularity, but instead creates a "ring"of event horizon that spins making it possible to fire an electron THROUGH the ring with precise enough timing that it doesn't intersect with the rotation of the kerr black hole's ring-shaped event horizon. Like, imagine shooting a relativistic light speed BB gun through a gyroscope spinning around at 99.99~ the speed of light. This causes the particle to somehow exit the event horizon BEFORE it enters, and the particle then curves with the spin and loops through the kerr ring AGAIN moving further and further back in time with each pass until it escapes and continues on. This is why it's easier to send information back into the past and people get jellified, and why long strings of data get broken up (the transmission string is broken by the rotation of the kerr event horizon ring). You're forcing the object or data through a very tiny hole and a very tiny amount of time multiple times.

2024-12-20 15:42:55 +0000 UTCRainet Kakeru isn't a real anime, it's part of the Science Adventure universe though and has connections to another anime/vn (Chaos;Head). It's something like Digimon. They even made an opening for it which is sung by FES, a major character from Chaos;Head and their Gothic punk band PHANTASM. The name of the song is "Masquerade ~NoAH Daisanshou Retsuou Shinseikihen Yori~" (Masquerade ~NOAH A New Era from the Third Chapter of Kings~) It's an excellent song, and I recommend listening to it.

2024-12-20 01:44:11 +0000 UTCIf you guys are liking this season you should watch steins gate 0 in my opinion the season 2 it’s better

2024-12-19 23:29:15 +0000 UTCOn the last episode I made a comment about the immutability of some events, where, although some things change, they don't change as much as they *should* have. For some reason, all the world lines are trying to align on certain points, and will "force-fit" outcomes when necessary. This is one of the reasons they didn't win the lotto-6 (destined to be poor lol), and why nothing much seemed to have changed at the end of this episode, despite changing world lines.

2024-12-19 08:41:29 +0000 UTCI agree with the others, you need to do 2 eps a week, it starts to get really convoluted and having a week off will jumble up that continuity of events. (also I agree with Wes on the world line stuff, I also think thats how it works, where there is a "main" worldline that memories end up on depending on time travel)

2024-12-19 02:17:10 +0000 UTCA lot of people get frustrated with Okabe for sending D-mails willy nilly but he's just a college student fooling around and trying to be a supportive friend. Enjoying the reactions and for spoiler-free context for future episodes you guys should look up the area of Tokyo the anime is set in called Akihabara (aka Akiba), it's like an animefied version of Time Square.

2024-12-18 21:39:29 +0000 UTCBinge this show please, I’d love for 2 ep a week 😭😭😭. Aside from that here is some info from the vn from episode 5 where they hacked into sern, don’t know if people have mentioned it in the comments on that vid. To answer some questions you might have How did sern even send people back in time? -Using the LHC and a lifter. LHC purpose was the create proton collisions at 99.999999991 speed of light that would create mini black holes. Two of these black holes are needed and their singularity (the center) would revolve around each other creating something like a ring, forming a Kerr black hole. So a Kerr black hole doesn’t not have a point in space but a rotating ring as its center (which I’ll get to a little later). We know that an event horizon is where TIME AND SPACE switch places. So you could go into a black hole and move through time, but you can’t escape a black hole not even light, so when something reaches an event horizon, let’s say a spaceship, to the observer from the outside notice the spaceship is simply frozen, slowly dimming away. So how was sern trying to get over this? -The lifter is, well some type of scientific contraption, there’s a vid on yt of actual people making a ioncraft (I don’t believe they mention too much about it). Basically imitating anti gravity through the use of electrons which made the contraption oppose gravity in a sense. So what they did was feed electrons to the ring singularities (which starts going faster) where their angular momentum is faster than the mass of the black hole. And this creates a naked singularity (a hypothetical in general relativity since we don’t know if they exist) . Remember how I said that event horizon nothing can escape, in a naked singularity there is no event horizon. Which then breaks the general theory of relativity and the principle to causality, laws of the world as we know, terrifying. Then why hasn’t Sern succeeded? If they have the components and abilities to send people back in time, why are they turning into jelly and random locations? -Sern has trouble with the lifter and can’t make complete naked singularities. Remember how you guys were talking about the earth is in constant rotation, movement by the sun, the Milky Way where our Solar System abides, is moving. Then so on and so on since the universe is constantly expanding. The reason they can’t is because they haven’t created complete naked singularities meaning the person still gets jellied by supergravity while also not having the correct time displacement and adjustments (getting sent randomly). We had 14 reports that identified the jellyppl , but who knows how many more have been in space or in the ocean… interesting right. Well thats practically all, btw all of this was from the head so if I’ve made any mistakes for those who know, go ahead and correct 👍. This show is way too good. Also petition for 2 eps a week 😔

2024-12-18 21:38:08 +0000 UTCOn a random note, there's this quantum physicist who recently started reacting to Steins;Gate, and has a colleague who is currently working at CERN. He says he going to call her and find out if CERN is secretly building a time machine. lol It seems like you two are still enjoying this show, and I'm eager to see your reactions when we reach the turning point in the story.
