You aren’t going to be spoiled by the opening when there’s no context to the visuals. Plenty of people have watched the opening, none of them have been spoiled. 2. I never said they HAVE to watch it, if they don’t want to they don’t have to. I just said it was okay to watch it. At the end of the day, we’re here to watch the show, not the opening/ending.

I usually don’t skip openings, but I can understand the people who do. I also don’t think it would ruin their viewing experience, but by saying “it’s okay to watch,” you’re basically saying there are no spoilers, which just isn’t true.

The visuals for the opening are extremely well animated, and the shots go by quick enough, they won't know what is actually a spoiler. For example, AOT season 4 the rumbling op was definitely one to skip because as the audience, you knew the characters/plot well enough to recognize spoilers. For the season 2 SL opening, it goes by too quick to actually be spoiled on anything significant, and you don't actually know the plot.
