Idk how that could even be a question, its either the person who raised you and cared for you or someone you relatively barely know. A lover is not your wife or the Mother of your child. Its like saying there is no right answer between saving your child or an acquaintance.

Every time I rewatch this, I always feel like people are missing a lot of why Hunter x Hunter is not just one of the best shounen out there but one of the best works of fiction.

I hate Gon's deadbeat irresponsible trash-father, and my fav character doesn't get the depth in the show as he does in the Manga and movies so people think he's a pedo lol enjoy the show!

2024-09-05 19:12:38 +0000 UTCYeah this is the 2011 version of the anime which sticks pretty close to the Manga, so it is perfectly good, and I would even recommend, reading the manga first if you want to. Plus manga usually always has more details than are covered in anime. and if you want to keep pace with their reactions, if you check out the episodes on the HxH wiki you can see what chapters each episode covers.

Both the world building, power system and character development of HxH is fleshed out and explained well, it’s impressive. When HxH first came out, it was really influential and now modern animes like JJK and Demon Slayer still take inspiration from it!

2024-09-05 17:40:01 +0000 UTCOnly thing I know about the manga is that it extends further than the anime does, the anime is very much worth watching though even if it doesn't completely finish, some of the story arcs later on are insanely good. I still have faith that we'll get more episodes of this anime one day once the current manga Arc ends
