Fun fact! Konosuba's novel has already finished! It was such a good read. The anime really capture how the characters interact, so when you read the novel you already have a sense on how each character actually say their lines. It's amazing.

We saw that in the 2nd season when Vanir was blown up by Megumin and he returned saying that he lost one of his extra lives and so was now Vanir II. I have no idea if she comes back in the story but I assume that Arnes also had multiple lives which was probably why she seemed kinda chill about dying. Season 3 of KONOSUBA ended at volume 7 of the Light Novel with there being 17 volumes of the main series so we aren't even halfway through the story. Tbh at this point I'm convinced that we'll never see the end of the series in the anime as I can't see it getting to 6+ seasons/movies. Especially when they do these stupid 10 episode seasons that give them 0 chance of getting through the source material. The author of KONOSUBA also has another series that got an anime called "Combatants Will Be Dispatched!" which I watched recently and I actually thought was very funny. The web novel for this was written before KONOSUBA and you can definitely tell that they were written by the same author. It's about an agent of an evil corporation that is tasked with laying the foundations for the interstellar conquest of a fantasy world with his android companion. You can see the blueprints for some of the KONOSUBA characters in this series. The main character, Combat Agent Six, is very similar to Kazuma just even more of an asshole. Whilst not as good as KONOSUBA (not really a suprise as it was the 2nd series he ever wrote) I think it is definitely worth a watch if you're craving more KONOSUBA while waiting for a new season/movie.
