Made in Abyss Honorable Mention: Horimiya & Parasyte tied 6th place SG won by only 8 votes. Comparison from Last Poll: There were 3686 votes last poll; this time, 3470, decreased by 216 votes. Fewer people voted this time. SG had 232 votes with 6.69%, massive improvement from last poll of 121 votes Diaries 215 with 6.20%, improved from 175 votes. Code Geass had 181 votes, and 5.22% improved from 147 votes. I've never seen a Wes&Steph poll so close, reminds me of SG vs Cyberpunk poll when it was 50%-50% and SG 0 vs Bocchi 51%-49%, from another patreon and popular reactors, IYKYK. The top 4 shows are so close, ranked from highest: Steins: Gate, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Diaries and Dan da Dan. If even 13 people switch their vote for SG to Edgerunners, or vote Edgerunners, the top easily switch, same for 15 people for Diaries, and 16 people for Dan da Dan. (I'll say mutiple choice voting is great, as I took off my vote for Edgerunners to boost SG lead, but now their lead is better, I put the vote back on when Edgerunners was losing to Diaries, We need #1 SG and #2 CE) That is to say, a couple active voters can change this election, consistently

It's fill with mystery, philosophy, real life scientific concepts, emotionally impactful moments, and likeable characters. The original visual novel for this series was massively popular when it came out, and had a real life cultural impact in Japan. This would be perfect for the Steins;Gate 15th Anniversary. Btw, PA, the Steins;Gate "One World" live event is this upcoming Sunday and will feature the entire original VA cast including Mamoru Miyano (VA for Light in Death Note as well).

For example, Studio Gek reserved a slot just for seinen anime since they know popular shonens tend to dominate every poll, AutoSave started watching older shows which tend to get overlook by newer shows (newer does not always mean better - ex. reacting to My Dress Up Darling over Steins;Gate). I understand your point, and I actually recommended in a previous post that Wes and Steph consider reserving slots for certain types of shows, but I received a little bit of pushback.

There's always a show every season that blocks out any chance at anything else getting a reaction. I'm of the opinion there should just be a permanent "seasonal" slot to avoid that happening.
