Finally getting around to watching this, too. Heard good things about this show. 11:06 Damn, those camera angles are crazy good 11:50 what in the of- that granny caught me off guard. 15:12 What kind of conversation did I walk into 😂 19:15 The animation is a bit unusual (kinda kill la kill-ish), but actually pretty amazing 49:33 I bet she was right with everything and that idol is putting on a farce lol 51:21 Oh so you were right after all, she's not angry at guys, but the kind of guy she brought home before. 51:41 She reminds me of Bayonetta 1:08:42 That's a Haramaki. A Japanese warming cloth worn around the waist. You often see grandma's and grandpa's wearing one with that striped design in Anime's. Okay, that was wild, but I really enjoyed it!

2024-11-28 02:33:17 +0000 UTCSo do you think if she was in the tunnel and the ghost would imply gobbling on her vagina and stealing her uterus, people would laugh about it ? I know for a fact they would not and if you would imply sexual assault on a woman and not show it, it would be just as bad. See Goblin Slayer for example and the initial backlash when the show came out. There is a social conditioning that makes young males laughing stock in the same situations where something like that happens to a woman, it's instantly the worst thing to ever happen and that is fine. I am completely fine living in society where we protect women and where things like that presented in the show are demonized. I am merely pointing out that generally we really do not care about young men being hurt in the context of SA, like especially what comes to mind is female teachers and young boys situations. Sure you can see one situation was more visually represented in this anime and the creators are well aware of what is going to invoke specific feelings in viewers. They did it on purpose for the sake of creating good villains and good villains do terrible things and then get punished for doing them, it's a good moral lesson in itself for the viewers.

My roommates and I ended up binge watching it all that night with him lol! P.s it really reminds me of Mob Psycho 100.

The young man also has all of his clothes on and there’s upbeat music in the background. The young woman however is stripped of her clothes in front of an alien with his robotic dick out (all shown on screen), mind controlled, scene plays out a whole lot longer and the music is a bit more eerie. It’s easy to see why people would take the latter more seriously.

2024-11-27 21:49:46 +0000 UTCnice surprise :) even though i think people are overexaggerating, it's actually a really good show. very refreshing and different from the usual shounen recipe. but to be honest the "romance"-part is a bit too much of a bait in my opinion, following kind of the same pattern almost every time the two main characters interact with each other... at least so far. still, one of the best anime this year for sure im sure you will enjoy it

Any kind of attempted sexual assault on a young woman = dreadful and wrong. Both are very wrong however the social conditioning is super apparent and I love how this anime showcases that super well lmao
