Despite being roughly the same size, South Korea has seven times the population of Indiana based on current numbers. And even then, it’s not really saying anything if you don’t have the numbers from other countries to compare it to. (Plus, there are unknown S-Ranks, like his dad? I don’t know if he’s already in that group of 10 people or not.)

I almost stopped reading because it seemed to be same old story after he became the shadow monarch, I decided to give it some more time because i never saw that plot change happening. After the ice elves, I couldn't stop reading.

They are the ones with the might, and subsequently prestige for being so powerful, to bring others to their banner and also control them. Ya gotta remember that when people can have wildly different power levels, to the point where some could be seen as essentially gods, then there isnt much a government can do to keep them from doing whatever they want, unless they also have their own powerful "gods". Its kinda like how the A rank surveillance guy mentioned that while its their job to monitor hunters and punish crimes by hunters, they essentially cant do anything to stop S ranks from doing bad stuff. Hwang basically admitted to him that he was planning to kill two hunters, one of which is very well connected socially (son of billionaire tycoon) and the A rank couldnt do much more than just follow along. Personally, I thin that the reality is that the strongest hunters are the only ones with qualifications for being at the top of the guild power structures, since they are the ones that can control and protect the other hunters. They can always hire people to handle the admin stuff or tedious paperwork, at least for the most part when its not super high level stuff they need to report on for some reason.

I love Sung Jin Woo as a character, because of how family oriented he is, we hear his thoughts always, and he never wished for anything other than to cure his mother, and protect his sister as far as we know. And now that he has a little brother, he is that more dangerous imo. Sung Jin Woo is not just another overpowered character to me, he is a really good guy that is really trying his best, to give his all to the people he treasures. A guy that persevered humiliation of being the weakest for years, only for Karma to reward him for his perseverance.
