Not the guy in the suit...or the Front Man for that matter lol. The old man explained that he was the one who created and started the games and why he did so (basically, old rich guys were bored). Plus, they showed a scene of the old man giving the front man orders. But from what I understand of season 1, the game's host city is supposed to change every year. So, I think that's why the gangsters were able to notice people disappearing. I think ever since the old man died, they've just been running the game out of Korea, and so they're more regularly pulling from the population of people that would be turning to loan sharks...that's just my personal theory, tho lol. I'm watching season 2 for the first time with you guys. Edit: oh, so you guys didn't forget 😂😂 but I believe Front Man is still running the game for that group of VIPs. If my understanding of season 1 is right, then I figure they just continued as planned, with the next VIP becoming the host at the next host city...but if that's the case, then it kinda conflicts with the theory I posted earlier in my comment lol

2025-01-31 20:44:34 +0000 UTCthe thing with the bread & lottery is i think it’s a way for the dude to justify what he does. like there’s these homeless ppl who are starving & are choosing a lottery ticket over food. maybe he thinks these ppl put themselves in that terrible position & essentially are gambling. he even told gihun that when he was younger he kept telling himself these ppl are trash when he was burning the bodies. i wonder how even started working in the games when he was younger? maybe the homeless ppl also remind him of his dad? idk just throwing out ideas. he’s a very interesting character. gong yoo (the actor) did a fantastic job! he’s one of my fav actors & this was his first villain role.
