Queen Of Tears Episode 7

Comments

Yes!! Remember the secretary that worked for Seri and the one that was losing his mind searching for her bc he would lose his job if she didn’t comeback?? Both of them were like the only 2 still looking for Seri after the police and her family declared her dead. That’s the two of them πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I completely agree. I’m so glad they broke up!

This episode just reveals a lot about Haein and Hyunwoo's personalities and the way they think. So many little details!

Sjfyy_

Very well said, which is why I hate when sometimes she expects him to read her mind.

Sjfyy_

I actually disagree, I found his actions very valid. I think people can easily sympathize with Haein but are sometimes hypocritical when it comes to sympathizing with Hyunwoo. I don't see how his actions were in poor taste, but that's just my opinion I guess.

β€œI can even locate someone in North Korea” can’t remember if you guys made the connection previously but those 2 were in crash landing on you (the ones that were desperately looking for Seri and eventually found the audio recording evidence that she was alive)

Ahjusshi_Brown

Yes exactly... And i'm excited for next week episode too πŸ˜‰

Idk if you guys realized, but "I'm so competent that I can locate a target even in North Korea" coz he found Seri in Crash Landing if you remember haha

You know, I gotta say it lol the doctor delivering that information as frankly as humanly possible is VERY accurate πŸ˜‚ My mom and obviously my oma (grandma) are German and it's very much part of their culture to deliver unnecessary information to you like a loving slap in the face lol if my haircut looks weird on me? "Chels, your hair makes you look like a dyke. If that's not what you're going for, I'd grow it out more" 😬 gee, thanks for the slur and inclusivity all in one sentence oma~ (she knows I'm non-binary, so she wasn't trying to be rude but just saying I mightve looked more masculine than intended, which I assured her that I intended it. Oh and also, she wasn't saying all short hair does, but the style of cut I had was a 2-block undershave. Very masc) but ya, the culture at the time they lived in Germany was very of the belief that frankness was a respect to the other person that they are able to handle the naked information. But there definitely is a line where someone is just being rude. It's kind of funny to me though, because to everyone else here in the states, my oma comes off as a rude blunt person, but she hates "actually rude" people lol she's always like "I may not like something about someone, but you can't just be disrespectful to them because you don't like it" (about a race issue that happened at my job towards my nephew who's Aztec-descended Mexican, so he looks native. The person was being rude because he thought he was native, then got ruder when found he was Mexican) Anyway, just was funny to me the doctor delivered that just perfectly as a German man who's probably Gen X. Good actor

idk guys in my freshman year one of my flatmates was dating this guy that was an absolute loser: didn't go to class and used all his student loans to buy weed. She is such a bright light and has such big ambitions it was so weird. She spent so much time at his place as well. Anyways no one in the flat liked him and any time we would talk about him it was just awkward. No one wanted to say anything bad but no one had anything good to say so she was always just either ranting or raving. needless to say, he didn't pass the year and went back to his hometown and they broke up. We were all relieved and she even admitted that he wasn't a good influence afterwards. But I knew if we told her beginning of their relationship, she wouldn't have listened and then I would just become an enemy. So sometimes that's the reason

The writing in this show is very intricate, there a lot of callbacks to lines within the episodes too. Haein says that even if she loses her memory down the line, she'll never forget Hyun-woo betraying her. Then at the end of the episode she loses her memory and that's the first thing she forgets. At the end in the epilogue when Haein questions if he just believes everything she says kind of depicts the problem in their relationship. Haein when hurt/upset says a lot of harsh things she doesn't really mean - i.e: the baby furniture getting on her nerves. Hyun-woo just takes this at face value and doesn't understand that she doesn't really mean that and it's just a defense mechanism.

I love watching your reactions so much especially since youre married and give your takes! probably also because im called Steph (Hi Steph). Yeah this show is a rollercoaster of emotions. Note that haein was still protecting hyunwoo when she told her family to leave the investigation to her and not interfer: she knew they would eat him alive and wanted to do that audit because she knew it would be clean at the end of the day (showing how much she still loves him despite the anger she felt). Honestly, the discourse of the show was very big and quite intense since it was so popular and loved. Hyunwoo wasnt very liked and not because the audience didnt sympathize with him for his struggles, but because of his actions which when taken into account and in contrast, were in poor taste (youll also see even those who dropped it or didnt like it will always complain about how much they did not like his actions). There is so much miscommunication and lack-there-of and it was refreshing to see a show that tackled it from the roots.

Fun fact: Hae-in’s secretary is an ex kpop idol

"I found it on the way here. Our lock is still here." This is one of my favorite scenes. The lock means love here. It hurts me so much that Hyunwoo earnestly confesses to Haein, "I forgot about it, but I was still in love with you (our love is still here)."
